This carbon block cartridge is constructed with ultra porous activated catalytic carbon to provide the highest level of chloramine reduction, using a high-performance carbon formulation delivering results far in excess of other traditional carbon filters.

Manufactured entirely from FDA compliant materials, tested and verified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for chlorine, taste and odour reduction.

This filter is specifically formulated for effective chloramine control and the only cartridge to offer this feature, delivering the most efficient and highest levels of chloramine removal with low pressure drops.

10" x 2.5" size, 1 micron. Filter life is 6-12 months (based on usage and local water quality).

This filter is ideal for use in a wide range of aquatic applications, reverse osmosis systems, as well as in-home brewing and hydroponics.

This carbon block cartridge is the only block Vyair offer in activated catalytic carbon form, to target the control of chloramine within water.

Chloramine is the combined compound of ammonia and chlorine and is toxic when exposed to aquatic life.

Carbon blocks are a widely used choice for the reduction and removal of chlorine, VOCs, heavy metals whilst reducing water hardness. They also improve the taste and odour of drinking water. Supplied water penetrates the block from its outer surface to the core. Removed compounds are held on its surface while purified water passes through to the inside of the block.
