DracoDrum S16 Standalone Drum Filter

Drawing on the experience and knowledge from DracoDrum's commercial development and collaborations, they have added to their range of smaller filter products to aid the modern water keeper.

The engineering and understanding of how filtration works was developed to produce the stand alone range of filters. Fully curved base to eliminate corners that allow bacterial and debris build up.

These units are pretty enough for you not to want to hide them away.

These are all built with the outlets to perfectly match the inlets of our bio systems. Providing you with the ultimate flexibility to suit your own individual setup and space.

• The remotely sited controller has start / emergency stop buttons and a knob allowing you to change the length of wash. LED indicator shows the length of time between washes in minutes. Option to utilise a forced wash at either 45 or 99 minutes (This is triggered only if an automatic wash has not completed within the specified time). It also has 2 leads - one to plug in to the mains supply (110v and 230v, auto selectable) and one to plug in to the drum. Status of the unit is via 4 colour coded LEDs.
• Fully sealed nylon bodied water valve.
• Low voltage so that only 12 volts DC is anywhere near your pond water.
• Designed to run without a noisy and power hungry wash pump in most circumstances (they are available if required). On standby the unit can use less than 1/2 watt and in full wash mode, use 35 watts. It is entirely possible to run it off a car battery for prolonged periods of time.
• 77 micron stainless steel screen.
• 2 pin ancillary out from the control box facilitating you being able to utilise to your own requirements.
• Quick release/change UV Resistant DPM Drum Seal.
• External short shaft, rim drive motor.
• Solid state water level sensors.
• Extra deep waste tray with increased slope.
