Burtons BD-150 Combi Pond Drum Filter

The Burtons Combi Filters are a high-capacity, automated pond filtration unit used in large koi and ornamental ponds to keep water clear and healthy. They combine a mechanical drum filter, which uses a 60 micron rotating screen to remove fine debris. These filters also have an integrated biological chamber that you can fill with media to support beneficial bacteria that break down harmful ammonia and nitrites.

Designed for both gravity-fed and pump-fed systems, these filters feature multiple 110mm inlets and outlets, a built-in automatic wash pump to clean the screen with minimal manual maintenance, and options to add UV clarifiers to reduce green water, all controlled through a weatherproof control box for easy installation and reliable filtration performance.

As well as stopping green water Uvs inside the drum help keep the drum screen clean resulting in less cleaning cycles. If the correct size Uv is added there’s no need for additional Uvs to be fitted to your pond.
