The Kujaku is a beautiful and eye-catching variety known for its metallic white (platinum) base colour overlaid with a vibrant reticulated (net-like) pattern of red, orange, or yellow markings. 

Its name means “peacock” in Japanese, reflecting this Koi’s shimmering, colourful appearance. The unique scalation, often with a dark edge on each scale (called matsuba), adds depth and texture, giving the fish a refined, elegant look.
